The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Thursday warned the state’s new commissioners, senior special assistants, and senior consultants against looting or mismanaging the resources of the state.
He gave this warning shortly after they had taken the oath of office and oath of allegiance to the government.
The governor noted that they must avoid ostentatious lifestyle and looting, which might soil their reputation, considering the new change mantra both at the federal and the state levels.
He said, “You must be conscious and careful in your dealings and avoid any financial profligacy and/or impropriety that will put your name into disrepute.
“Be aware that the change mantra of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has percolated down and the eagle eyes of the anti-graft agencies are everywhere.”
