Shiefield host Arsenal in the next round of Capital one cup
Championship side Sheffield Wednesday will make several changes as they host Premier League title hopefuls Arsenal in the Capital One Cup fourth round.
Defender Michael Turner, midfielder Alex Lopez and attackers Marco Matias and Modou Sougou are all out.
Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech will start as David Ospina (shoulder) is missing.
Defender Per Mertesacker is available after illness, while Mikel Arteta, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky are injured.
The Owls are unbeaten in eight games in all competitions but only have a "10% chance" of beating Arsenal, according to head coach Carlos Carvalhal.
Wednesday, who are ninth in the Championship, won 1-0 at Newcastle in the previous round.
Giroud urges Arsenal to maintain momentum
Arsenal are second in the Premier League after a four-match winning run, while last week's 2-0 home victory against Bayern Munich renewed their hopes of reaching the Champions League last 16.
Striker Olivier Giroud has stressed the importance of beating Wednesday to maintain their momentum.
"We need to keep focused on what we are doing well," said the France international. "We have a lot of confidence and we want to show that we can get stronger and stronger.
"If we carry on like that, then we will be difficult to beat.
"We want to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League and we've got big games to come, so let's see if we can keep it up."
