"I was the best graduating student from my set in OOU, but I could not go for my NYSC for 2 years, because the school misplaced/lost some of my files. It was a really terrible time for me, I felt the whole world was passing me by and I was just static. My mates finished their service and it was as if everyone I knew was getting employed and I've not even started my journey.
Instead of staying at home sulking, I decided to do something and add value to myself so I took a job, a computer operator for a small shop in my neighborhood. The pay was very small, but I kept going cos I was learning new things.
Years later after everything was sorted out and I was done with service, the numerous computer skills I learnt back then came in handy and helped me secure a job in the biggest Ecommerce website in Nigeria. If not for that setback, I don't think I would be where I am today so I believe everything happens for a reason and sometimes the bad experiences are just getting us ready for something bigger and better." - Lagosian
